All candidates MUST take the CGSB Math examination prior to starting the Level I or Level II Ultrasonics courses. If they fail the exam, then a 2 day math course will be offered.
Therefore, all applications for the course must be received early so that the CGSB Math exam can be provided to all potential students. If students have not received math education in the past 2 – 3 years, it is strongly recommended that they attend the math course. It is not mandatory, but will provide a base for understanding the math requirements to complete the Ultrasonics course in mental comfort. If is the responsibility of the student to contact the union (if applicable) prior to attending the course so that approvals for remuneration can be obtained. The dates of the courses are shown below. Other courses can be arranged at the convenience of the student(s). Please contact the undersigned for arrangements.
